About Vickie
An Introduction
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I look to environmental factors to discover the root of patients' problems. I believe that, given a healthy social, familial, and work environment, most patients will experience a reduction of symptoms and a happier life. I rely heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) when working with patients, but also include elements of other modalities to tailor your treatment plan to your exact needs.

YOU ARE THE EXPERT in this relationship! You have lived your entire life in your body, while I have never lived there. You know what you experience, what works for you, and what you need. I will be your assistant, providing support, suggestions, and resources, but ultimately you will be the one who drives therapy and provides me with feedback about what's working and what's not.
